No chemo... yet
Courtney had another MRI and oncologist visit yesterday. The MRI showed a pea sized something in the back of the surgical site. The radiologist can't say exactly what it is, and we're betting that it's some debris from the surgery. As our oncologist put it, "It's still the result of the dust settling." Rather than start chemo right now, we're going to wait another 3 months, get another MRI, and see what we're dealing with. In the meantime, Cortney is doing a little better each day. She has her ups and downs, but seems to be experiencing a general upward trend. Of course she's frustrated that she's not all the way back to normal yet, but I think that's good as she continues to push herself. We just need to make sure she doesn't push herself too far. We're making some pretty significant changes in our daily lives as we become more aware of the need to help Courtney stay as healthy and strong as possible, and realize that we could all benefit for that too.
