The kids are doing well. I don't know how much they understand about what's going on, but they definitely know something's going on. Logan knows that Courtney has cancer, but doesn't know the long term prognosis. Just the same, it's amazing how resilient they are. After getting Courtney a new guitar a little while back, the three older kids all want to learn how to play. So, I got them a guitar last weekend and they're really excited. Caden so far likes to just jump around and pretend he's totally rocking out, but Logan has actually learned a few chords. Good fun on the home front.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Everyone has been great while interacting with Courtney. Today we have a few appointments, including another MRI to see what has happened to that spot that we saw in the last one. We've been trying not to worry too much about it, but I don't think it has ever left either of our thoughts completely. It's strange, we know that the cancer will recur, but you don't think it's going to recur this soon. Also, like I said before, if this is a recurrence, it has the appearance of a more aggressive and higher grade cancer. I guess we didn't really expect her to have a tumor in the first place, didn't expect it to be cancer, didn't expect it to be terminal. . . I guess we should be learning to expect anything. Still, we're hoping for the best.
